About SJGA
The SJGA has been in existence for 21 years. We serve juniors from 8
years of age up to 18 years of age. Any juniors in the Savannah area can
participate as long as they meet the age requirements.
We have a Board of Directors that meets every other month to discuss
program changes and fund raising. The board is comprised of local golf
professionals as well as selected parents of children in our organization.

| 2011 FOUNDERS CUP The Savannah Junior Golf Association participated in the Second Annual Founders Cup Golf Tournament at the World Golf Village in St. Augustine, Fl on Tuesday July 12th. We played against the Indian River Junior Golf Foundation from Vero Beach, Fl. The format was a team 2 ball competition where each 2 person team played a better ball for 9 holes and a scramble for 9 holes. Unfortunately we did not win the event this year but all of the participants had a great experience. 2011 AWARDS PROGRAM
| The 2011 Awards Program is scheduled for Monday August 8th at Crosswinds Golf Club. Trophies will be given to the juniors who placed in their division Championship and plaques will be given to division Allstars. We will also announce our Tournament Series Players of the Year and Team Savannah. RSVP to john@savannahjrgolf.org. Look at our Awards page for more details. The Par 3 Course at Crosswinds will be available for play by our juniors prior to the program. Any juniors interested in playing must send an email to john@savannahjrgolf.org by Wednesday August 3rd. Tee times will be available by Saturday August 6th. |
