ELIGIBILITY:
Boys, ages 10 to 18
(must be 10 and not
turn 18 before
7/26/11 )
LIMIT:
80 Juniors
BEGINNERS:
This division is
designed to
introduce juniors to
the game of golf by
teaching basic
swing techniques,
etiquette and rules.
This division is also
designed for juniors
who have had some
instruction and
played and would
like to improve their
skills without
intense individual
competition. The
play dates will
consist on 9 holes
of play on a
regulation course.
ADVANCED:
This division is
designed for juniors
preparing for
competitive
tournament play.
Juniors must be
able to shoot 125 or
better for 18 holes
(counting all
strokes) and
maintain pace of
play. The play dates
will consist of 18
holes of play on a
regulation course.
Juniors unable to
maintain a stroke
average of 125 or
less will be moved
to the 9 hole
beginner division.
CLINIC TIMES:
9:00 A.M.
PLAY DATE TIMES:

7:45 A.M.
BEGINNER:
8:45 A.M.
Juniors will sign in
and be paired in
their appropriate
division. Juniors
who are not on time
will be able to play
but may not be
placed in their
division and
therefore cannot
receive points. No
tee times for this
division.
Both divisions will
be divided into age
groups: (10-12,
13-14, 15 up). The
10-12 age group will
play the red or
forward tees, the
other groups will
play the white or
intermediate tees.
Parents/Guardians
are not required to
volunteer. If you can
volunteer, please do
so. Volunteers are
needed to assist
with pace of play
and supervision.
We would like to
have one adult with
every two to three
groups. The
volunteer
registration can be
found on the
application form.

| THE INTERMEDIATE BOYS WILL BE AT LAVIDA COUNTRY CLUB ON MONDAY JULY 25TH FOR THE DIVISION CHAMPIONSHIP. WE ARE ASKING THAT ALL SPECTATORS REMAIN ON THE CART PATHS! The format will be stroke play. We are going to have a shotgun start at 8:00 am. We need all players to sign in no later than 7:45 am to complete the pairings. (A shotgun start means everyone will begin play at the same time with different starting holes.) If you know that your child will not be participating please send us an email letting us know. |
